About the job
We need hands-on care to take care of my father in Simi Valley, non-smoker. Position is for Saturday or Sunday and possibly late afternoons on weekdays or backup for our other caretaker. Currently we can only afford one day on the weekend. My father speaks English but grew up natively speaking Spanish, bilingual is a plus. Responsibilities: Help them out of bed, bathroom, and shower. Get their pills, breakfast, lunch, and general companionship. He has incontinence of both stool and urine. He has a bad knee and back and uses a walker. Also someone who is good at laughing at jokes and is jovial to keep him in a good mood during moments of confusion from Alzheimer's.
