About who needs care: Recovering from a hip surgery. Little mobility and no weight on the leg for a bit of time, then will be on a walker. Assistance with bathroom help at first, bathing , meal preparation, and groceries. About the care needs: Someone who will talk and keep her company. Patience. Strong enough to lift her out of bed and off toilet and shower. Some basic medical expertise. My mom plays Mah Jong, reads, watches movies, paints watercolors and does crafts. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
