TEMPORARY: 2 MONTHS of 2 DAYS a WEEK of Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Santa Clara My mother recently entered Hospice at the age of 106. She is visually handicapped, has dementia with memory loss and confusion but is conversant. She needs to be transferred from bed to wheelchair to toilet or commode, to recliner. She weighs about 122 lbs. but lives with me and I'm usually available to help. She also needs very simple food prep with some feeding, oral care, medications, toileting and conversation. SCHEDULE: Tues & Wed 9:30am-7:00 p.m. for 8 weeks, 4/22-6/11 CARE NEEDS: Looking for a female, CNA or HHA, very experienced with Hospice and dementia. She needs to be gentle, patient, experienced with oral care and toileting. Prefer a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. We have a small, sweet 14-year-old dog.
