About the job
About who needs care: My parents are both in their eighties and live in an assisted living facility. They both are in wheelchairs and cannot stand. They could use extra support for tasks around the house, minor grocery shopping (snacks, drinks, toiletries). They have asistance for most activities of daily living, bathing, transfering, cooking, etc. this is just for extra help. I would like someone to come 2 times a week for 4 hours each time. Some of that time would be going to the super market and CVS, and the rest will be helping them around the home, laundry, organizing, etc. About the care needs: I'd like to find someone who is kind, engaging, patient, organized, and reliable. Must have a car so they can run errands. My parents can't transfer so they won't need anyone to drive them. Services needed include: rrands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
