My 79-year-old mom recently experienced a long hospital stay which significantly weakened her body, resulting in a stay in a rehab facility. She is generally healthy other than her strength and mobility now being limited and experiencing some memory loss due to a cardiac arrest. There is alot of unknown of what her future needs will be. Prior to the hospital stay, she has been living on her own and fully independent. She will continue to receive physical therapy at home but we need someone to assist her with meeting her basic needs as we have a family and work full time. At this point, we don't know when she will be discharged and are trying to be proactive. Our care concerns are: Light Housekeeping, Mobility Assistance, Help Staying Physically Active, Bathing / Dressing, Meal Preparation, Errands / Shopping, Transportation.
