About who needs care: Senior diabetic in his 80s, wheel chair bound due to polio (at a young age) in one leg, and recently had two toes amputated on the other foot and is taking a long time to heal because of his diabetes. He cannot walk and is losing upper body strength to be able to transfer from chair-to-toilet and chair-to-bed. He mostly like to watch TV but could benefit from strolls outside and fresh air and sunlight. he is lighthearted and enjoys nice conversation. He'd ideally need help in mornings and evening from am-pm transition - getting up out of bed and morning care routine and getting into bed at night and nightly prep routine. About the care needs: Empathetic, honest, ability to lift, interests in old western movies a plus. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
