About the job
We are looking for a caregiver for our mom in independent living in South San Jose. We need someone for 5 shifts per week, including Saturday and Sunday which are mandatory, - 2-hour shifts. Timing is flexible after 2 p.m. Evening is fine too. Job is companion/caregiver Basic tasks -include bathing, dressing, grooming Laundry, Housekeeping Therapeutic physical therapy Cooking and meal prep Taking her for short distance walks. Administer medicines, including inhalers Looking for someone with an easy-going temperament, patient and friendly, with the disposition that can motivate and encourage her. Able to prioritize getting tasks done in between providing companionship to our mom Our mom is a unique client, prone to keeping a night owl schedule and sedentary in the day.
