About who needs care: schizophrenia, incontinence, some memory loss. Claude has a full time care giver but she is overworked and he is starting to have panic attacks at night and seeing things. He enjoys discussing books, politics, economics, world affairs. He is 88 and Monique is his twin sister who lives in Berkeley and has power of attorney About the care needs: Patient, Intelligent, Kind, strong (lots of laundry); probably best with a Caucasian person. Able to deal with schizophrenia - he lies but does not even realize that he is lying. So care giver must know how to work with him. Make sure he takes his meds!!! Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
