About who needs care: Our mother is deaf, so basic sign is needed. Willing to teach basic signs to potential caregiver. About the care needs: Caregiver must be patient with low-vision care receiver. Mom's mobility is very limited. Uses walker exclusively. Is blind in one eye--sensitivity to needs of partially sighted individuals is a must. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
