Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In San Diego

About who needs care: Hello, my mom is diabetic with a need for assistance in transferring to and from her wheelchair, bathing, grooming and dressing at times, and taking her to her appointments or simply to places she likes for groceries or meals. She needs back surgery and two hip replacements and the reason for her inability to walk. She loves to cook, so help in the kitchen would be great. Handing her items and company is sometimes all she needs. I am looking for someone who is well rounded, willing to take initiative and can keep open communication about what is needed. About the care needs: Being comfortable with bathing, grooming, light cleaning, and help to maintain the home. Strong and willing to take initiative with things that can get done to make my mother comfortable, or letting me know what may be needed. Taking inventory and making lists. Someone with a sense of humor and not easily bothered. Light hearted and willing to communicate through difficult situations. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
