About who needs care: My mom has mild cognitive decline. She needs specific help navigating her iPad, so I am looking for someone who knows how to work their iPhone well. For example, help with email, navigating and using the app. (I have written instructions). She also needs help with the remote control on her TV. With her mild dementia, she cannot remember the previous instructions, but she can learn with a lot of repetition. She also has advanced macular degeneration and is hearing impaired. She lives in Assisted Living. I am hoping to find someone once per week. She also needs help with organizing her closet (she tends to throw things on the floor), as well as emptying the litter box. About the care needs: Patience. She needs to work very slowly and needs a lot of repetition. She talks a lot - so someone who is willing to listen. As previously stated, someone who understands her iPad (which functions the same as an iPhone). I am guessing that one hour would be a good starting point - so if there's someone who already helps someone at the San Clemente Villas- or nearby- that would make things convenient for them. Thank you. Services needed include: companionship.
