About who needs care: Due to an infection in the spine, he has been bedridden and immobile for 5 months. He is slowly gaining strength with PT, and his infection is going away. However, in this moment, he needs help getting dressed, bathed, and getting in and out of his wheelchair/ pushed around. He cannot stand or walk on his own but can walk a few yards with his walker. About the care needs: A talkative person would be a good fit. He likes to tell stories and hear stories. Ron is also a very funny man with lots of charm and personality, so his caregiver should be open to his energy. He is very aware when people treat him like he's not a person, so his caregiver must be kind. They should specialize in elderly care. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
