About who needs care: She is unable to speak due to PTSD. She communicates solely through writing and struggles greatly with communication. She has lived alone for the past 4 years and has recently started to struggle with psychosis. She loves art and is an avid painter. She has cats as well though she is able to care for them and herself generally. She really needs companionship and someone to help with the more physically demanding tasks around the house such as cleaning, hanging up pictures, and managing her home. About the care needs: We are hoping for someone who is patient and able to establish proper professional boundaries with her. The ability to read English is a must, as that is her primary form of communication. Someone who is artistically minded is a definite plus. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
