About the job
My mother had a hemorrhagic stroke, which resulted in the loss of movement in her right arm. Her right leg has some movement but requires assistance with a cane to walk & caregiver by her side for stability. We are looking for someone to assist her with her morning routine, assisting with bathroom duties, bathing her with a cloth, checking her blood pressure, providing her medicines which will already be distributed, serving breakfast (i. e., cereal, toast), laundry, and guiding her through light exercises at the dining table. About the care needs: We are looking for someone who is patient, has experience working with the elderly, and can provide compassionate, nurturing care.
