About who needs care: Duties include meal prep and service 2-3 times per shift. Empty urinal as needed. Be available if needs arise. He walks with a walker into the kitchen for meals. Uses a urinal at his chair. May need to change clothing at times. Mostly sits in chair and watches TV. He is clear of mind, and a kind, thoughtful man. The current need is one day per week but will need more help in May 2025 and beyond. Residence is at California. About the care needs: Wages are paid by client but reimbursed by Long Term Care Insurance. The LTC insurance requires certification of training as a home health aide or a resume of previous experience with elder care along with verifiable references. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
