About who needs care: My father has fairly advanced Parkinson's disease. Because of this he needs support with house upkeep, medication management support and reminders, and safely moving throughout his home and within the community. He enjoys reading, getting outside for some fresh air, and spends a fair amount of time watching tv. His ideal day would be structured in a way that he could get out of his house at some point in the day and have some social interaction each day. Experience with caring for someone with Parkinson's disease would be ideal, he often needs help maintaining his balance when getting up from a seated position and moving throughout his house and community.
