Please read all of this posting completely. I am looking for a mature & competent caregiver to relieve me periodically. I do not have set dates as of yet. About the client; Susan is 71 years old, 122 lbs that was diagnosed with ALS 4 years ago. Strictly wheelchair bound. She is not able to pivot or assist other than arms around your neck when transferring. Susan also has Dementia. She is very verbal and in the moment. Able to carry on conversations etc. She has a great attitude everyday which makes life so much better for all involved. Susan lives with her husband Phil, he is 82 and mobile and good shape. He cooks the evenings meals. Caregiver in-charge if warming up Susan's soup. This would be a live in position working g 10-12 hours with nights off (May have to get up with her during g the night but not often). She loves outings and lunch at restaurants.
