I'm looking for companion care for my mother, 93. Requirement for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. My mother is an independent 92-year-old. She's ambulatory. I live a mile from her, and take care of some of her needs, including groceries, medications, etc; but she could use someone to visit her on a more consistent schedule. There may be an occasional need to make a sandwich, or bring a load of laundry in from the garage, but meal preparation and house cleaning aren't really part of the job. My main desire is to find someone who, although comes on a fixed schedule, is available in the rare event of an emergency when I'm out of town. She lives on Oak/Hardy in Orangevale, so the perfect candidate will be a short drive.
