About who needs care: Looking to hire an individual to care for our father in his daughter's home (where he lives) - a substantially progressed frontal dementia patient - while also doing some light household things, such as cooking or cleaning the dishes. EXPECTATIONS - assist patient with ADLs, including waking him up in the morning, getting him showered - frequently check for soiling, change as needed - walk with him around the backyard (he uses a walker) or nearby park - read with him (he enjoys Lord of the Rings) - dispense prescribed medications - log everything in a journal About the care needs: We would love to hire a compassionate professional male capable of lifting our dad when he requires help getting up and down. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
