About the care needs: She is heavily sedated but wakes up intermittently. The person needs to be compassionate realizing that this wonderful 101-year-old retired teacher who is loved by so many is transitioning. The person needs to provide her with ensure, water or juice when she wakes up. Services needed include: companionship.
