About the job
I need a caregiver from July 27th returning August 2nd. My husband needs 24/7 companionship. He is 91, has early stages of dementia so is still logical but his short term memory is shot; is physically weak and unstable but uses a walker and a cane and gets up and down the stairs on his butt with no help. He can dress and feed himself, shower and take care of personal needs, but someone needs to be here "just in case." Caregiver can go and come throughout the day, not have to stay here all the time, but be here, be on call, and spend the night to make sure Paul is OK. No medical training needed, just good sense, compassion, and patience.
