Seeking flexible, part-time companionship care in Newhall for my 88 yo mother. She is ambulatory, has all of her faculties and can tend to most ADLs on her own. She suffers from Bipolar Depression which leaves her listless and unable to get out of bed some days. Duties include encouraging her to get up, get dressed and go for a short walk, setting her up to eat a healthy meal that you will help to prepare, take her dog for a 30 - 45 minute exercise walk, ensure she has been taking her medications, light tidying up, ensuring she has bathed herself at least one time per week and preferably two. There may be an occasional errand to run with her to the local grocery store just minutes from her home. Days and hours are flexible. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
