About the job
About who needs care: She's in good health, but becoming forgetful. Soon to be 99 years old, moves around alright, uses a cane or walker occasionally. She has enjoyed working in the yard but it's become difficult for much of what she wants to do. And she loves to talk. About the care needs: She would be unhappy with someone that isn't willing to get dirty in the yard. She wouldn't say that, but it's what she would tell her other grandson that lives out of state. She hasn't had a caregiver before. We don't know what kind of schedule would work or how much time is actually needed. It almost feels like I'm looking for a friend for her more than anything. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
