About the job
About who needs care: I am under treatment for lymphedema . I use a walker and weigh close to 250 lbs. I can't get in or out of bed without help, although staff here at the Park Lane provide that. I have lots of medical appointments, need transportation, and need help getting in and out of a car. I am active in the card, book, and puzzle groups here. I like to read, but I watch only football on TV. Mostly I need errands done for me. About the care needs: I want someone who speaks and understands fluent English. Intelligent. Interested in books and puzzles and classical music. Good driver. Somewhat on the quiet side; NOT a chatterer. Good sense of humor. Strong because I am a big lady. Female. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
