My mother is 97 years old and has been bedridden for the past 3 months. She is a frail 5 ft, maybe weighs only around 50-60 lbs. He is under hospice care now and her husband and in-home housekeeper/caregiver at home supporting her. But my mom's last wish is to be able to get out of her bed and eat in the dining table. So the hospice nurse will be ordering a recliner wheel chair. We would like a caregiver who can lift her out of bed into the chair and keep her company and give my dad and their helper a break. Requirement is that you can safely lift her from bed to the recliner chair and back at the end of the shift. She is not heavy as the hospice nurse who is 5 feet 2 inches was able to safely lift her into a chair recently but we want someone who has experience with this type of care.
