About who needs care: Maryjane is over weight but otherwise healthy. She is an Artist and still teaches art. She is an excellent teacher. It Would be a win win situation to have a caregiver that is interested in increasing their creative avenues. She is a former high-school art teacher. She needs a routine, help with eating healthy meals and taking her vitamins and meds in a timely fashion and help with tasks. Fyi- she has a cleaning person once a week. She is mobile and has decided to stop driving, thank goodness, lol. About the care needs: The caregiver being interested in art and the creative process would be helpful. She is a reader and a wealth of information. If the caregiver likes books and reading, that would be nice but not necessary. She is hard of hearing so speaking clearly and loudly would be necessary to void frustrations. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
