About who needs care: I am having anterior right hip replacement surgery on February 26, 2025. I will need help with recovery following the surgery. This may include assistance with bathing and dressing, light food prep, light household cleaning, and whatever PT the surgeon gives me for 10 days. My local daughter will also help me during this period. I am in reasonable physical shape for an old man. I estimate that I will need an average of 2 hours of help for 10 days. The pay rate will be $50 per hour. About the care needs: I would appreciate an encouraging, positive, friendly caregiver with experience with joint replacement surgery recovery situations. References and credentials are desirable. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
