She is fully functional and mobile, requiring no assistance with bathing or bathroom tasks at this time. We're seeking approximately 10 hours a week, with occasional overnight opportunities when her husband travels. About the care needs: We are looking for a caregiver who has experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's, particularly in the early stages. Patience, trustworthiness, and strong communication skills are essential qualities. Ideally, the caregiver will be someone who is eager to engage with Pat in activities she enjoys, such as walks, crossword puzzles, and conversation, as these help keep her mind active. While no specific hobbies are required, someone with a calm and engaging personality who enjoys building relationships would be a great fit. Flexibility is also important, as the level of support may increase as Pat's condition progresses.
