Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Los Angeles

I need a hands-on care provider with Alzheimer's / Dementia experience for my mother in her 80s. Light housekeeping and light meals. Must help in shower. Companionship, help with TV, and social interaction. Prefer female non-smoker. The most important consideration is your personality and being a good fit for my mom, who definitely has preferences and has some remaining autonomy. She prefers a quieter, kinder person -- no yelling or loudly speaking to her at a shrill volume. She needs to be "the boss" so you are going to have to have patience and kindness to get her into the shower. If it's not a good fit, it's not your lack of skill, it's her desire to run the show. No driving; no medication beyond Tylenol. Must be able to journal your day so other aides know what's happening. Some eves may be offered.
