About the job
My father is charming, loves to laugh and listen to classical music, especially opera. He is quiet, needs a caregiver who takes the time to listen, and does not talk too much. He eats well, but increasingly needs help with that as well as bathing and toileting. Ability to help coach PT exercises is essential - gentle shoulder rubs, stretches a big bonus. Part-time to begin, with opportunity to increase time for caregiver who proactively finds ways to be helpful and with humor become welcomed into a home of independent seniors. Future potential for living on site in independent dwelling.
