About who needs care: Cancer, cardio-vascular, and mobility issues. Needs help getting in and out of bed, to the toilet, etc. Mostly enjoys films, tv, and books at home. Many former foster kids come to visit throughout the week. Ideal day structure would be help getting out of bed in the morning, prep for breakfast and get comfortable in the living room. Help with hygiene and household tasks before prep for lunch. Providing company and help with the toilet throughout the day and finally getting him comfortably in bed for the night. Maintaining awareness throughout the night for toilet needs. About the care needs: Someone experienced with stubbornness and the ability to help lift/walk a 180 lb man. Patience for family members with emotional imbalance as some of the former foster kids who visit have special needs. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
