Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Long Beach

About who needs care: Advanced dementia, lives with long time partner for over 40 years. He is slowing down. Mom needs daily bathing, brushing teeth, changing of diapers, and meal prep for healthy diet. She needs stimulation, as she tends to sit just staring for most part of day. Once engaged in movement and conversation, she is better. My sister and I prefer a medical trained person who is established in memory care. About the care needs: Someone who is kind, caring and will engage in reading to her, and she is good when someone asks questions. This person should have nursing background to attend to her physical needs. Meal prep is important for healthy diet. My sister and I will be taking care of her doctor appointments and re-evaluations. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
