About who needs care: My Dad is 72. He has bone cancer. At this time he cannot stand up or walk. He can move himself around in his bed. He can feed himself as well. He does have a catheter but still wears a diaper for bowel movements. He enjoys reading mostly. He likes sci-fi movies as well as books. Right now he is bed bound but can move himself around in his bed. His ideal day would be having breakfast lunch and dinner, read his tablet and maybe watch TV. About the care needs: Some who is nice and communicative. Would prefer nursing skills to be able to change and need bathe my dad. We would really like someone who doesn't mind sitting and just be a companion for me father. Also someone with a strong demeanor who can deal with my dad when he does have pain. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
