Companion Care Needed For My Mother In La Jolla

About who needs care: My mother was recently diagnosed with cancer. She is mobile but very slow. My father is more capable, but needs help with housework and cooking so he can focus on caring for my mom. Currently, my parents wake up around 7 to 8 a.m. and have a leisurely breakfast until about 10. They then have energy for a morning activity before coming home for lunch around noon. After lunch, they take a nap between 2 and 4. My father prefers a helper to come between 4 and 8, as this is when my mother is most uncomfortable. Our ideal helper would come and cook the night's dinner and next day's lunch at this time and clean as needed. About the care needs: My parents are Cantonese, but can also speak Mandarin. Either Mandarin or Cantonese is a must. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
