About the job
Seeking care for man in his 50's. He is in a wheelchair due to a car accident - paralysis. He needs help getting up in the mornings and into bed from his wheelchair at night, both Saturday and Sunday in a 'split' shift. Hours are flexible but start time is usually around 6::30 a.m. till about 10:00 a.m. -- then -- Back later that evening to put him back to bed at around 9:30 p.m. till 10:30 p.m. Both Saturday and Sunday Takes about 3 - 4 hours to get him up, showered, dressed and in his wheelchair for the day. - then.... about an hour to put him to bed ;) You would be fully trained by a current caregiver. No experience necessary. The individual in need is clean, neat and friendly. Very patient. The house environment is clean, well-kept and relaxed. Many perks and bonuses with this job.... concerts, sports events, etc. if interested.
