About who needs care: My mother had PD with a slight tremor. She enjoys playing cribbage and uno card games. She enjoys watching TV and checking out Facebook. She used to do Tai Chi by watching a YouTube video but I think k she would need help wit that now. Getting the right one on her TV that is. She gets up around 6-7 am, takes some medications and then gets her breakfast by 8. She has some PD exercises she likes to do. She's pretty mobile but very cautious because she doesn't want to fall. She doesn't drive anymore so would like to have weekly transport ion to grocery store and hair appt. Needs help with making bed and putting sheets back on. Light laundry and dishes. She had a monthly hours cleaner. Help with meals to make sure she is eating a proper diet and taking her medication on time and consistently would be needed. About the care needs: It would be nice if they could play cards or cribbage with my mom to keep her mind active. Someone who has a positive friendly personality that enjoys visiting. My mom is a positive person. Someone honest or trustworthy. My mom worries about everything and can get anxious about things. She needs someone who is calming and will exhaling things, not someone who is abrasive or gets worked up. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
