About who needs care: My mom had a stroke a 6 years ago. She can not use her left arm and has limit use of her left leg. She can walk short distances, but generally is in a wheelchair. She needs someone the cook dinner and prepare her for bed. About the care needs: Someone who likes to engage, tell stories, read to her. It helps if you're a good cook, but her meals are generally very simple. Some one friendly, supportive and patient. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
