Hands-on Care Needed For My Grandmother In Huntington Beach

About who needs care: My grandma has dementia yet still the sweetest woman ever. My dad lives with her in her home and still works; my aunt comes in the mornings when my dad leaves for work until 10 a.m. My grandma's schedule is very simple; sleeps until 10am; watches The v until 11 a.m. and then she starts her daily routine of getting ready; still applies her make up each day and showers every other day. Has her "brunch" and reads the newspaper at the dining room table from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and then goes back to her room for a nap from 3:30-5 p.m. and then it's back to the table for her dinner. Light meal prep and cleaning of her bedroom, bathroom and linens is requested. About the care needs: I would love for her caregiver to be sweet, patient, gentle and understands dementia; to get her out in the backyard and look at her roses; do memory games and play bingo with her. I want my grandma to think of her caregiver as a "friend" Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
