About the job
About the care needs: We are looking for a Spanish speaking caregiver. Care is for our dad that is 86 years old. He is very cooperative, respectful and kind. We encourage independence so most of the duties are stand by assist for all ADL's; except for showers, preparing meals, doctor appointments, outings for walks or activities and transportation will be needed. We are offering 2 days per week Monday and Wednesday; 4 hour shifts has to be either 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. We could pay $17 out of pocket for now. When Medicaid kicks in, IHSS will pay $19. 75. Services needed include: bathing and mobility, transportation, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship.
