About who needs care: My mother Kate, an 82-year-old woman with heart disease that is getting progressively worse and is mostly in bed. She is starting to experience some confusion and short term memory issues. Her husband Ken is there as well and he is able bodied and helpful. They are just starting to see that outside help would be a good thing. About the care needs: Nothing medical, but they need a little extra help around the house, and some grocery shopping. They live only 2 blocks from a shopping center so that is pretty easy. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
