My mother, Liz, is in need of some assistance on Saturdays. She cannot feel from the waist down so she is incontinent and also needs help transferring. This evening shift would help her get ready for bed by heating up dinner, changing diapers, getting an into pajamas, and transferring from wheelchair to bed. With any extra time, we'd ask the caregiver to perform small household tasks like sweeping, switching laundry, and taking out the trash. We can consider this on a week by week basis so we'd really love to at least get someone to come this Saturday, (May 3), and then we can talk about future shifts across multiple days.
