Personal Assistant For Regional Center Client In Fullerton/Orange County

Job Description: ---Looking for a fun, positive, flexible, easy going, and motivating personal assistant to provide daytime/evening support for a member of the Neurodivergent/LGBTQIA community ---Communicate with individuals family and other support staff to ensure individual's health and safety ---Use basic behavioral strategies to support the individual (training provided) ---Transport individual to and from activities and appointments (i. e. gym, doctor's appointments, shopping, conventions) ---Work various hours throughout the week depending on the individuals needs ---Provide motivation, guidance and mentorship in regard to exercise, emotional health, personal goals, and activities of daily living About the care needs: Job Requirements: ---Must have your own vehicle and provide proof of a valid CA DL & current car insurance ---Must be able to pass a DOJ background check ---Must be familiar with Orange County and surrounding areas ---Must have personal or work experience with neurodivergent individuals ---Must have prior work experience as a behavioral coach, life coach, job coach, paraeducator, counselor, mental health professional or similar role ---Must be able to remain calm and support the individual during difficult situations/crises ---Must have awareness and respect for the LGBTQIA community ---Interest in digital art, drawing, sewing, attending conventions (i. e. Comic Con, etc.) a plus ---Identify as Neurodivergent and/or part of the LGBTQIA community a plus Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
