About the job
I am looking for a part-time caregiver for my Dad. He has stage IV lung cancer that metastasized to his brain. As a result, he is weak and easily fatigued but he insists on living as independently as possible since he is still only 72. He gets around with a wheelchair & a walker, but he had a fall that resulted in him injuring his left shoulder/arm. He also had a stroke recently. He has been in a SNF, but is being discharged and wants to go home. My sisters and I live on the east coast and need to hire care for him to help with cooking, cleaning, errands, med management and some assistance with dressing while that left arm heals. A few hours per day, very flexible, might not need to be every. He will continue home health PT & OT. He lives in Fallbrook.
