About who needs care: My mom has COPD and uses supplemental oxygen. We're bringing her home from the hospital. She lives independently with family nearby. She needs a helper on hand as she recovers and gains strength. She will use a walker for a few weeks, and then likely not need it anymore. Needs help with meals and caring for her little dog. About the care needs: Mom loves sports, crafts, dogs, and coffee. She'd love someone like that too. She gets short of breath easily. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
