About who needs care: My dad recently fell and micro fractured his pelvis. He has been walking with a walker for many years, but now after the fall is in a rehab center and has a lot of trouble getting out of bed and will be doing PT for many weeks to try and regain his mobility and strength. He lives with my mom who is 85 and very capable of almost all tasks, such as cooking, medication, and minor help with his needs. He will require bathing, hygiene including relieving himself, and some daily PT exercises (a PT from Kaiser will be coming to the house 3 times a week to prescribe a routine). The home has plenty of space for the caregiver to have privacy while not attending to my father. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds so the caregiver must be large enough to help lift him. About the care needs: Kind and gentle. He is very kind and gentle. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
