Job Description: Temporary In-Home Caregiver Position Position Title: Temporary Primary Caregiver Duration: Approximately 6 to 8 weeks (starting January 22, 2025) Schedule: Mondays: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesdays: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Wednesdays: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Thursdays: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Fridays: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Temporary Position Requirements: - Caregiver with a mature and quiet demeanor who is sensitive to client privacy needs and preferences. - Must be fluent in English to effectively communicate with the client and their family. - At least 1 year of caregiving experience. - Experience with stroke patients. - Must drive and have reliable transportation. - Current TB test, HCA registration, and CPR certification required. This temporary position is with Comfort Keepers, a caregiving agency dedicated to providing uplifting in-home care for seniors and older adults. At the end of the temporary assignment, caregivers will have the opportunity to continue working with Comfort Keepers, serving other clients throughout Orange County. Caregiver Responsibilities: - Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need. - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and stand-by assistance for baths/showers. - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. - Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry. - Assist with meal planning and preparation. - Support client mobility, including transferring, positioning, and ambulation. - Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
