About who needs care: Moderate dementia but still able to perform activities of daily living with reminders, I am looking for a care companion to stay with my aunt at her assisted living apartment. She enjoys walking and talking about her life, her short term memory is very poor but her memory of the past is still good. About the care needs: My aunt responds best to genuine caregivers who are good listeners and are patient with her repeated stories. She likes to go to shop for fruits and enjoys flowers and gardens.
