About the job
We need companion care to take care of my grandfather and grandmother in Coronado. My grandfather is 93 and very active (rides e-bike 20 miles a day) but was discharged from the hospital from an infection. My grandmother is slowing down and has problems with her memory. She is stubborn and is resistant to receive any help, but she is not rude or mean. Medication management is required. Some light tidying up is involved (washing bedsheets and making bed, load/unload dishwasher, etc). Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. Looking for ~15 hours per week starting out and will likely progress to more hours/full time care based on needs.
