About who needs care: My Uncle has stage 5 kidney disease, heart issues, dental issues, and over grown toe nails. But very mobile. He walks daily. You'd never know he was ill. He's a retired educator, enjoys reading, writing and taking care of his cats. He's up around 8 a.m. to do his devotion, eat, tend to cats, then he reads or writes. Enjoys listening to sports on radio and TV. Stays current on news, pop culture, and entertainment. About the care needs: Someone in their 50's that likes to listen to entertaining stories while working. My uncle is loquacious but interesting. They need to be Christian, able to do house cleaning, wash clothes, and be mindful of how to care for a man that has been single for a looong while. They need to have a valid driver's license, be able to take him on errands and possibly to doctors appointments. And possible do some meal prep. He has cats so may need to take to vet. I just need someone to help me. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
