About who needs care: Recently diagnosed with widespread cancer and diabetic. Lives alone and a fall risk but does have life alert. Trouble with continued proper hygiene and a healthy diet. Displays slight burst of anger when flustered but he is generally pleasant. Most appointments are taken care of by family but we would like the option for transportation for less serious appointments like blood draws, etc, if necessary. Small amount of house work, mostly looking for the bathrooms and kitchen kept and potentially laundry. He is a retired army vet who loves Western movies. Television is always very loud because he doesn't like to wear his hearing aid. He was married to my grandmother for decades but she passed away about 10 years ago from a heart attack at home. As a family, we need help a few days a week when one of us isn't there. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
